Air Fryer by Cozyna Review

Husband. Father. Deep fry fanatic. Thanks for joining on me this crispy, delicious journey.

There are two variants of the Air Fryer by Cozyna. First is the 3.2 L capacity and the bigger one is the 5L capacity. The Air Fryer by Cozyna Review from At Least We Fried focuses on the 5L model. Cozyna is aiming at two demographics with these two designs. The smaller version will target the single persons but the bigger 5L variant will target the couples who might need a larger fryer.

Air Fryer by Cozyna Review

How well does the Air Fryer by Cozyna stack up against other fryers? It is very obvious to see that the design is nothing out of the ordinary with its typical set up of temperature and timer dials at the bottom. It is a plus that both these components are dishwasher friendly as they are the only components that require cleaning.

The air fryer also makes use of an analog control set up. This makes the knob a little more limited in terms of accuracy when you compare it with digital setups. So when setting temperature and time, what you get is essentially an estimate. The timer can go up to 30 minutes as well as the temperature can be set between 176oF and 392oF.

How well does it actually fry stuff? It does a pretty standard job with frying and cooking. It takes a little getting used to before you get the optimum cooking experience but it’s pretty easy to use. Some reviews online have indicated that it doesn’t cook food evenly and thoroughly but overall it does a pretty standard job.

Our testing aligns with what these users have to say. We tested it out with frozen fries and set the temperature and timer to what was recommended in the cookbook. The fries came out both well cooked as well as crunchy. We then proceeded to do same with chicken drumsticks and asides from a little uneven cooking between the tips and middle, every other thing was good. These results were gotten with the 5L version but can also be replicated with the smaller 3L version.

The fryer comes with accessories including an eBook as well as a cookbook filled with various recipes. Also great to see is the 2-year warranty that comes with the fryer because this indicates they are pretty confident in the durability of the model. One drawback of this fryer is the difficulty in sliding the bottom drawer back in after it comes out, however.

Another issue potential buyers might have with this fryer is the price with respect to what it actually offers. At $100 or more, it comes a little overpriced because you can get other excellent fryers at lower prices.
