With up to four cups of oil volume, the FryDaddy has the capacity to handle most tasks intended for a home fryer. The most impressive thing about the volume is that the fryer offers an incredible 1:1 for to oil ratio. This unit is able to fry significantly more per oil volume than most other fryers which only make this model an even better value. As far as total size, this fryer has dimensions of 9.7 x 9 x 8.5 inches and weighs less than four pounds. This is by far the most compact and easy to store electrical fryer we have reviewed.
Power
The FryDaddy clocks in at around 1200 Watts. While this is lower than many other home deep fryers, it is more than enough due to this model only needing four cups of oil to cook. Given the wattage-to-oil ratio, the FryDaddy heats up faster than many contemporary fryers.
There are no temperature controls on the FryDaddy. While the specs provided by Presto don’t provide the exact target temperature, multiple tests have pegged it at between 325 to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Features
The Presto FryDaddy Deep Fryer is a stripped down, basic deep fryer. That doesn’t mean it doesn’t have some nice features, though! Given the small size, there is no basket necessary; it does include a slotted deep fryer spoon, however. This adds to cleanup time give the spoon is dishwasher safe and much easier to clean than a fryer basket. In fact, cleanup is fairly simple. While not submergible in water, this model is entirely nonstick and allows for easy cleaning inside and out.
A unique feature of this fryer is the sealable lid, however. As you may have learned from our complete guide to deep fryer oil, it’s possible to store used oil and reuse it. The FryDaddy makes that simple by offering an airtight lid. What is more convenient than simply storing your oil in your deep fryer?
