The Cuisinart CDF 200 isn’t here to mess around. With a 4-quart oil capacity, its oil capacity meets or exceeds most of the models we have reviewed. With a 2.3 pound food capacity, it’s possible to fry entire bags of frozen fries or okra in one batch. The Cuisinart CDF 200 has the volume that will meet the needs of most small to medium sized parties.
When it comes to dimensions, the Cuisinart CDF 200 is a little larger than other deep fryers. However, with dimensions of 18.25 x 12.75 x 12.5 inches the model will still fit comfortably on most counter tops.
Wattage
Coming in at 1,800 Watts, the Cuisinart CDF-200 offers the most power of any home deep fryer. In fact, given the limits of circuitry in American homes, 1,800 Watts is the maximum allowed for small appliances. Raw wattage isn’t the only consideration, though. This model has a good ratio of wattage to oil and tests show the Cuisinart CDF 200 does a better job of reaching and holding frying temperature than other residential models. When it comes to power, the CDF 200 is at the top of the heap.

The Cuisinart CDF 200 has all of the features that you might expect from a high-end deep fryer. The model comes with an enameled fryer pot that includes a pouring spout. The pot is designed to easily drain oil and is dishwasher safe. Speaking of cleanup, the basket and vented lid are also highly functional and dishwasher safe. The lid includes odor-reducing vents and a window that allows you to watch the food fry even with the lid on. This is useful, as it will help avoid burns from splattering oil. The fryer also comes with an adjustable thermostat for maximum control over the cooking process. While the unit doesn’t have a unique feature that sets it apart like the T-Fal FR8000’s oil filtration system, this is an excellent model that offers everything you need to fry delicious food.

When it comes to a deep fryer that suits large families or entertaining, this model is perfect. The Cuisinart CDF 200 Deep Fryer is well made and does a great job of maintaining frying temperature. With properly heated oil, you can count on the CDF 200 to be the healthiest deep fryer available. The fryer is on the higher end cost-wise, but like most things you will get what you paid for. In all, this is one of our favorite deep fryer.
